Happy Forth of July!

My computer broke down this week. It could turn on, but couldn't open Windows. My laptop is really old, and I hav been expecting it to die, but I just need it for a few more weeks until I get my new one at the end of July. A coworker told me about a guy she knows. I took it to him, and he got it started again, and backed up all my files on his computer, so if my completely dies, he will have all my stuff, and will put it on my new computer for me when I get it. I am really hoping that my current computer will hold on for just a little longer. I only went 3 days without it, and it made me realize how much I rely on having a computer and access to the internet. How did we survive without it?
I went into Seoul and checked out the War Memorial of Korea. (I brought my camera, but as a result of the new system on my computer, I have no way of getting the pictures onto my computer.) Outside of the museum, they have dozens and dozens of planes, tanks, humvees, and any other heavy equiptment that you could possibly use in a war. (Bruce, you would have loved it.) The museum was cool, and free which made it even better. I'm trying to learn more about the Korean war. I know a lot about the events of the war, partly because of my DMZ tour, but I still haven't quite figured out what caused the whole thing.
I finally bought a bike today! (Mom, you should be so proud of me.) I even took a picture of it, but again, can't get the picture onto my computer. I am so excited to have much better mobility and not have to rely as much on bus routes that go way out of the way and take forever.
I'm having fun planning the week break that I have at the end of the month. The beginning of the week I will spend by myself exploring Korea outside of Seoul. The end I wll be spending with my lovely mom and Aunt Viv!
It is hot and humid here. I'm kind of missing the "cool" Minnesota summer.
Happy Forth of July! Wish I could be home to celebrate. They don't care much about it here.
